The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting innovative research, delivering high-quality teaching, and contributing to the academic and intellectual life of the institution. Responsibilities

  • Conduct cutting-edge research in the field of innovation, with a focus on areas such as technology adoption, entrepreneurship, disruptive innovation, organizational change, and design thinking.
  • Publish research findings in top-tier academic journals and present work at leading conferences to enhance the reputation of the institution and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
  • Develop and graduate courses related to innovation, entrepreneurship, and design thinking, utilizing innovative teaching methods and real-world examples to engage students and facilitate active learning.
  • Mentor and supervise graduate students, providing guidance and support in their research endeavours and academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Business School and across disciplines to foster interdisciplinary research initiatives and promote a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Engage with industry partners, government agencies, and other external stakeholders to apply research findings, promote knowledge exchange, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
  • Contribute to the academic leadership and administration of the Business School through participation in departmental meetings, committees, and other institutional activities.

Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. in Business Administration, Management, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A strong record of scholarly research and publication in top-tier academic journals, with expertise in innovation theory and practice.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the graduate level, with a commitment to innovative pedagogy and student engagement.
  • Experience in mentoring graduate students and supervising research projects.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • A track record of securing external research funding and engaging with industry partners is desirable but not required.
  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in research, teaching, and service.
