Responsibilities

Conduct cutting-edge research in the field of innovation, with a focus on areas such as technology adoption, entrepreneurship, disruptive innovation, organizational change, and design thinking.
Publish research findings in top-tier academic journals and present work at leading conferences to enhance the reputation of the institution and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
Develop and graduate courses related to innovation, entrepreneurship, and design thinking, utilizing innovative teaching methods and real-world examples to engage students and facilitate active learning.
Mentor and supervise graduate students, providing guidance and support in their research endeavours and academic development.
Collaborate with colleagues within the Business School and across disciplines to foster interdisciplinary research initiatives and promote a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Engage with industry partners, government agencies, and other external stakeholders to apply research findings, promote knowledge exchange, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
Contribute to the academic leadership and administration of the Business School through participation in departmental meetings, committees, and other institutional activities.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Business Administration, Management, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, or a related field from an accredited institution.
A strong record of scholarly research and publication in top-tier academic journals, with expertise in innovation theory and practice.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the graduate level, with a commitment to innovative pedagogy and student engagement.
Experience in mentoring graduate students and supervising research projects.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and engage with diverse stakeholders.
A track record of securing external research funding and engaging with industry partners is desirable but not required.
A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in research, teaching, and service.
