Full-Time MBA

We are recruiting a select cohort of future leaders whose ambitions are to transform themselves, expand their horizons, and champion the region.

JHBS’ Full-time MBA will prepare you for the fiercely competitive job market and provide you with strategies to turn start-ups into the leading companies of the future.

The programme looks to receive “high potential career launchers” from every discipline. Bring your arts, humanities, science, medical, engineering, or other undergrad degree into the Full-time MBA and prepare to explore unlimited opportunities and life-long earning potential.

Classes meet on weekday mornings and afternoons for your first two semesters. The six months that follow kick off with the optional international trip and then consist of the residency programme, your full-time paid work experience, the hours of which vary according to your placement. Coursework continues during your final two semesters, following a traditional full-time schedule and calendar.

Classes take place at James Hope Business School, located on the Twin Lakes Estate in Lekki (Chevron Junction, Lekki-Epe Expressway). Online options are also available for some courses. Most residency assignments will be in Lagos, although options are available in other major cities in Nigeria, across West Africa, and around the world.

The 72-credit-hour programme kicks off with an orientation week. Focused seminars convene on campus and are designed around case studies, tech simulations, and real-world experiences. Beyond the classroom, networking opportunities abound.

6-8 Month Corporate  Residency

Immerse yourself in the corporate, not-for-profit, public, or quasi-public sector world of work in a 6- to 8-month paid work term with our employer partners located across Nigeria and internationally.

During the first two semesters of the Full-time MBA programme, you will have been coached and rigorously prepared for this eight-month immersion into the business world. The James Hope Business School Corporate Residency is not just another summer job. It is a foretaste into your career.

You will be paid a salary, which of course can help offset some of your tuition fees. You will come back to the classroom for your second year with solid business experience, ready to leverage what you have learned.

International Travel

Our Full-time MBA programme will also open the world to you through an optional 10-12-day international trip, scheduled to occur every summer. The destination will be determined one year in advance.

Discover how business works in another country. The trip’s itinerary is made up primarily of company visits, with guided tours and presentations from industry leaders. Additional features include lectures from expert international faculty, government visits, and cultural activities.
