Dr. Seyi Olanrewaju

Dr. Seyi Olanrewaju is a Professor of Accounting at James Hope Business School. He obtained a B.Sc. in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom; an MBA from Lagos State University; and an M.Sc. in Finance from University of Leicester, United Kingdom and Charisma University, TCI, United Kingdom.

He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management (CIMA, UK), Institute of Directors of Nigeria (IOD), Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM), and Society for Corporate Governance of Nigeria (SCGN). He also serves a Member of the Governing Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Dr. Olanrewaju has held various roles in multinational organisations, including Exxon Mobil, PwC, Zenith Bank Plc, MTN Nigeria, General Electric, Internet Solutions (now Dimension Data), Konga Online Shopping Mall, Mixta Africa, TSL, and SecureID Limited. He sits on the board of many companies as Non-Executive Director.

Dr. Olanrewaju is a three-time recipient of the CFO of the year award in Nigeria’s Telecommunication Industry: 2016, 2018 and 2019. He is also a recipient of Africa Influencer Award 2020, Notable ICAN Person 2020 and the Rotary Club’s Award for Service to Humanity 2021.
