James Hope University Successfully Holds Its First Matriculation Ceremony, Inducting 132 Post Graduate Students

James Hope University (JHU) is proud to announce the successful completion of its Maiden Matriculation Ceremony, held on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the University Auditorium in Lekki, Lagos.

This historic event marked the official induction of our pioneer students into the JHU community. The ceremony featured the matriculation oath, inspiring remarks from university leadership, and moments that highlighted our commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and the holistic development of our students.

A total of 132 post-graduate students were formally inducted for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions.

This historic event marked the official induction of our pioneer students into the JHU community. The ceremony featured the matriculation oath, inspiring remarks from the university leadership, and moments that highlighted our commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and holistic development of our students.

Keynote Speakers Inspire the New Cohort

The ceremony featured distinguished speakers who set the intellectual tone for the new academic year:

  • Mrs. Ganiyat Taiwo Olusesi, Chartered Secretary and Lawyer, delivered a lecture titled, “Creating a constructive shift in the Nigerian economy through workforce innovation,” focusing on the strategic importance of human capital.

  • Mr. Ina Alogwu, a leader in digital innovation and venture building, spoke on the theme: “Understanding the intricacies of entrepreneurship in the dynamic ecosystem of the Nigerian economy,” providing valuable insights into the Nigerian entrepreneurial landscape.
