On Monday, 15th September 2025, James Hope University marked an important leadership transition with a formal handover ceremony. Professor Abiola Babajide, Dean of James Hope Business School and Acting Vice Chancellor (Ag. VC), officially handed over the responsibilities to the newly appointed Vice Chancellor, Professor Austin N. Nosike.

The ceremony took place on the university campus and was attended by several key members of the university’s senior management. Those present included the newly appointed Vice Chancellor, Professor Austin N. Nosike; Dean of James Hope Business School, Professor Abiola A. Babajide; Registrar, Dr. Uzoma Achugamuno; Bursar, Mr. Babafemi Olayemi; University Librarian, Dr. Shorunke Oludare; and Head of Strategic Relationship and Partnership, Mrs. Zephia Ovia-Ikem.
