This programme is designed for individuals who are passionate about innovation, want to drive change within existing companies, or are aspiring entrepreneurs. This M.Sc. degree combines the best of business acumen with innovative thinking. It is tailored for people who want to be at the forefront of change, whether by creating new ventures, revitalizing existing businesses, or driving innovation in various sectors. As the business world continually evolves, and as innovation remains a critical driver of competitive advantage, the skills and knowledge from this degree are highly valuable and in high demand.

Curriculum
Both core and elective courses for the M.Sc. in Innovation, Intrapreneurship and Entrepreneurship programme may vary significantly, depending on student interests and faculty expertise.

Project/ Thesis
  • Entrepreneurial Project or Thesis: A capstone project where students apply their learning to a real- world entrepreneurial venture or research topic.
  • Entrepreneurial Skills Workshops: Practical workshops on topics such as pitching, networking, and business planning.
  • Guest Speaker Series: Talks and seminars from successful entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts.

Entry Requirement

Applicants to the James Hope Business School postgraduate programmes are required to possess an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a strong academic record. JHBS admits graduates from all recognized universities to its postgraduate programmes provided that they satisfy the requirements stipulated below.

M.Sc. Admissions Requirements

Provided the University’s matriculation requirements are satisfied:

  • Applicants with degree in relevant area from a recognized university with minimum of second class lower division may be admitted to the Master of Science degree programme.
  • Applicants with postgraduate diploma at upper credit level in relevant areas from a recognized university may be admitted.
M.Sc. Required Admissions Documents
  • Completed online application.
  • Application fee.
  • Official transcripts from all past academic institutions. Unofficial transcripts may be submitted with your application; once admitted, official transcripts, sent directly to JHBS from the issuing institution, are required prior to registration
  • A professional resume that provides evidence of work experience.
    • No prior work experience is required for the M.Sc. programme.
  • A personal statement that discusses your career goals, your interest in the programme and your perspective into how the JHBS degree will help you achieve your goals.
  • Three professional/academic referees

Students whose native language is not English may be required to participate in an admissions interview and/or submit official TOEFL/IELTS scores or equivalent evidence of English proficiency.
