John Nsikan PhD

Dr. John Nsikan is a Researcher, Consultant, and Faculty in James Hope University Business School, Lagos-Nigeria.  He was formally with the Department of Business Management at Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Management, specializing in Operations Management and Supply Chain Analytics. Prior to joining Covenant University, Dr. Nsikan served as the Director of Academic Programs at the Garden City Premier Business School (GCPBS), a member of the European Global School (EGS) University in Paris, France. He also directed the Online MBA program for EGS University in Paris (Port Harcourt Learning Centre) and headed the Center for the UK-based Institute of Commercial Management (ICM).

Dr. Nsikan's professional journey includes his role as Assistant General Manager at Diamondbridge Consulting Company in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, where he designed and facilitated executive education and capacity development programs for esteemed public and private sector organizations, including NDDC, NCDMB, NNPC, PrimePort Logistics, HEP Engineering, and JOCARO among many others. He also gained substantial industry experience in production and operations management during his tenure at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, producers of Golden Penny Products.

His teaching, research, and consulting interests encompass Operations and Production management, Operations Research and Optimization, and Quantitative Analytics for Business Decisions, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, and Project Management. Dr. Nsikan is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA) and a Fellow of the Institute of Operations Research and Management Science (IORMS), an individual member of the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD), and Research Fellow at Center for Applied Research and Innovation in Supply Chain–Africa (CARISCA).

As the pioneer Managing Editor of DiamondBridge Economics and Business Journal, Dr. Nsikan has made significant contributions to the field by reviewing articles for reputable business and industry journals in the areas of oil and gas operations and supply chain management. Under his leadership, the journal has successfully published three volumes, showcasing cutting-edge research and insights in economics and business. He is well-versed in both foreign and national quality assurance and accreditation processes in graduate and corporate education, including AACSB, AMBA, ASIC, EDUQUAL, ICM, and CIBN. His research is published in respected international and indigenous peer-reviewed outlets.
